A Village for One (Oregon City, OR)

A Village for One empowers community members to heal the impact of commercial sexual exploitation by providing a safe and healthy environment of healing for youth through additional training, outreach and advocacy.

A Village for One currently provides mental health therapy, case management, therapeutic housing, clothing and hygiene and also task force participation to more than 85 young victims of commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC).

A Village for One currently has three offices across Oregon and recently opened a second therapeutic home. Part of the support they provide includes access to clean laundry for the individuals they support, along with the ongoing laundry needs they have to operate these homes.

CSC ServiceWorks was able to meet an immediate need by donating and installing four laundry machines at their residential homes. This donation allows their program to operate more effectively and improves the lives and wellbeing of the youth in their residential program.

We felt a lot of pride and it was inspiring to see how our support will have a direct impact in helping these children in need
