Seasoned Leader Brings Deep Strategic, Operational and Financial Background
Most Recently Served as President of Brickman/ValleyCrest, Overseeing a 20,000-Person Organization with more than 250 Branch Offices and $2 Billion in Annual Revenue
PLAINVIEW, N.Y., July 14, 2016 – CSC ServiceWorks, a leader in commercial laundry solutions and air vending services, announced today that its board of directors has appointed Mark Hjelle as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board, effective immediately.
Most recently, Hjelle served as President, Brickman/ValleyCrest (recently rebranded BrightView), a $2 billion annual revenue business, where he led a team of more than 20,000 team members in 35 states with 250 branch offices delivering landscaping and other exterior services to clients including multi-family, schools and universities, hospitality, retail and commercial offices. Over the course of his 18-year tenure at Brickman, Hjelle held numerous leadership positions in the areas of operations, finance and business development.

Hjelle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from the Case Western Reserve School of law. He serves on the board of directors of Valet Waste, a national provider of amenity services to the multi-family housing industry.
