CSC Completes Install and Transition to Digital Laundry at Colorado State University
August 7th, 2019
In August, CSC’s Denver team was treated to lunch by Colorado State University as a thank you for the way they handled their latest installation on campus.
The install at CSU involved new equipment and an entirely new laundry program, transitioning from a campus card system to a wholly included digitized laundry system.
The project took all of July and the first week of August and was comprised of 402 machines in 37 Residence Halls and laundry rooms. In total, the installation team moved 790 machines in and out over those 5 weeks.
Ron Dominick, Installation Manager, oversaw coordination of the entire project from start to finish, and worked along with his team of installers and Service Technicians which included Ron Hill (Lead Installer), Erik Lopez (Installer), Mervin Moreau (Installer), Timothy “Junior” Valentine (Installer), Trey Matlock (Installer), George “Bud” Boyer (Lead Service Technician), Jim Selostok (Service Technician), Roland Leal (Service Technician)
No detail was left untouched, thanks to the Denver Team’s amazing effort, including Bud Boyer who was responsible for the technology and wiring installation of all 402 machines, as well as Jim Selostok and Roland Leal’s assistance disconnecting old machines and cleaning all vents across 37 laundry rooms prior to new machine installation.
This successful installation has helped grow CSC’s partnership with Colorado State to a few satellite campuses. A CSU Facilities Maintenance staff member even knitted the CSC team skullcaps in their favorite colors and dropped them by the CSC branch!
